Hot spring
large communal bath, outdoor bath
The Atagawa Hot Springs are believed to have been discovered by Ota Dokan, who is also famous for building Edo Castle, when he came across a monkey healing its wounds in the river.
The temperature of the hot springs source of Atagawa Hot Springs is about 100°C, allowing guests to enjoy a soothing 42°C soak (after partial water adjustment) at the hotel.
The bathing water at the Atagawa Hot Springs contains large quantities of metasilicic acid, a natural moisturizer found in so-called beauty bath hot springs, and is said to smooth the skin.
Enjoy a relaxing time while soaking in the spacious large public bath or the outdoor bath with a view of the vast Pacific Ocean.
