NARA ROYAL HOTEL offers spacious and comfortable rooms with free Wifi access and an onsite natural hot spring. In addition of having a selection of 4 restaurants to choose from, a large tea lounge with a waterfall view, the hotel prides itself in hosting the largest banquet hall of all Nara Prefecture.
The property is also easily accessible thanks to its very own shuttle bus which tours the whole city and passes by each of the ancient capital’s sightseeing and business spots. Would you decide to come through the JR, we are 10 minutes’ drive away from the Kintetsu Railway.JR “Nara Station” and at a walking distance from the Kintetsu Railway “Shin-Omiya Station”.
In addition of being conveniently located, the hotel has a prime access to the famed Heijo Palace to which you can walk in minutes. This World’s Heritage site is a must-visit for all the Japanese culture’s lovers and those who would want to learn more about the influential culture of the Heijo-kyo’s ancient capital. From there, you will leisurely walk through gardens and deers toward the main “Daigokuden” Hall.
Our rooms come in Single, Twin, Double, Suite, and more. We have implemented Simmons beds in our rooms. You can also take advantage of both wired LAN and free Wi-Fi. In the first floor of the basement is a natural hot spring. There’s also a stone sauna and traditional Japanese soft osteopathy facilities that you can reserve, to let the strains of your long journey be washed away.
For breakfast, Restaurant Manyo arranges a Japanese-western buffet that also has a lot of traditional dishes from the Nara area. There are also Party Plans available. On top of that, we have Takenoya Japanese Restaurant and (in our Hotel Annex) Sazanka Chinese Dining, both serving lunch and dinner, and the Sentaki Tea Lounge, where you can sit back and relax. Our hotel’s banquet halls can accommodate a wide range of parties, meetings, exhibitions, and other events, so please be sure to ask us about it.
Indeed, it is easy to get happily lost in the charming city of Nara. With its 1300 years of age, the town hosts some of Japan’s most reputable attractions. We do recommend you to visit all of “Todai-ji”, “Kasuga-taisha”, “Kofuku-ji”, Gango-ji, "Yakushi-ji" and "Toshodai-ji". For that, do not forget to take advantage of both our free shuttle bus and our rental bicycles.
