A space of repose that offers both comfort and functionality, only one minute’s walk to Tenmonkan Arcade.
HOTEL MYSTAYS Kagoshima Tenmonkan Annex is located at the center of Tenmonkan and is highly convenient for access to various destinations.
The location is 1 minutes’ walk from the Tenmonkandori Station of Kagoshima City Tram, which can be taken from Kagoshima Chuo Station on the JR Line. The hotel is very near Tenmonkan Arcade, only 1 minute’s walk, which makes the location very convenient to access restaurants, department stores, souvenir shops and other stores that are available in abundance.
Available guest rooms include semi-double, double and twin rooms. Bathroom amenities and night wear are also available. Some of our guest rooms also include a massage chair so that our guests may relax in their rooms.
When strolling in the vicinity, Kagoshima Prefectural Museum is recommended, which is a seven-minute walk from the hotel, while Kagoshima City Museum of Art is also conveniently located 11 minutes’ walk away. There are also many historical landmarks in the area, such as the “Bronze Statue of Takamori Saigo”, “Statue of Duke Hisamitsu Shimazu”, “Tsurumarujo Castle Ruins”, “Statue of Atsuhime Tenshoin” and the like. A stroll around to see these landmarks is highly recommended. The hotel is also 12 minutes by car from “Shiroyama Park”, with over 600 species of tropical and subtropical plants growing wild. The observation platform offers a sweeping view of Sakurajima Island, Kinkouwan Bay and Kagoshima City area.
The unique sweets of Kagoshima are also recommended when taking breaks while sightseeing. “Shirokuma”, which is shaved ice with condensed milk and fruits is one such famous item. The original outlet that created it is still doing business at Tenmonkan. “Jumbo Mochi”, made of flatly stretched mochi paste roasted over charcoal and filled with black sugar with azuki bean jam, is also a popular taste of home.
Although the hotel is situated at the center of a prosperous busy quarter, our guests relax and pass the time slowly.
Prices might go up, so book now while rooms are still available.
