Motenashi Dome (Welcome Dome), created with traditional crafts in mind, is connected to Tsuzumi-mon and features a more modern design. Representing dedicated hospitality, this dome was designed to resemble an umbrella under which visitors are invited to converge. Constructed from 3,019 glass panels, the Motenashi Dome plaza is an open area bathed in bright sunlight. Beneath the dome you’ll find an event space where a wide variety of entertainment events are held, and an Information Center.
