The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai will be held at Yumeshima from Sunday April 13 to Monday (National Holiday) October 13, 2025.
It has been 20 years since a world exposition was held in Japan, the last one being the 2005 World Exposition Aichi, Japan held in Aichi Prefecture. The Expo will feature various pavilions from countries and regions around the world, which are taking part in the Expo to showcase their culture, technologies, and innovations.
The symbol of the Expo 2025 site is the Grand Roof (Ring), which is one of the world’s largest wooden structures with a circumference of about 2 kilometers. It was constructed using both modern methods and traditional techniques, such as kakezukuri that has been used to build shrines and temples in Japan. From various locations on the roof of the Grand Roof (Ring), you can enjoy sweeping views of the attractions of the entire Expo site that is surrounded by the sea and sky, encompassing the cityscape of Osaka and the abundant nature of the Seto Inland Sea.
The Expo is a major international event that generates new technologies and products, and inspires ideas to make life more convenient. Why not visit the Expo to see and experience it for yourself?
