The Nasu Highland Park is the biggest amusement park in all of Tochigi and offers something for everyone, from visiting families to adrenaline junkies. With over 40 different attractions, including 10 roller coasters, it’s loved by locals and visitors alike.

The park itself is hard to miss, with its roller coasters and Ferris wheel rising up as you approach. Beyond the 10 roller coasters, attractions include a fishing pond – where you only pay if you want to cook your catch – a giant carousel, a haunted castle and much more. Enjoying relatively few crowds – especially compared to Tokyo Disneyland® – the park is a venue perfect for just about anyone.

Rainy weather isn’t a fear either at Nasu Highland Park. Not only is there an indoor coaster, SHINPI, but character events and shows occur season round. Even the worst Tochigi weather can’t stop the fun. Just make sure you pick the right time of year to go – the park does close during the winter months.
