Shusse Inari Shrine

The god of worship at this shrine, which bears such a happy name, was originally a God of fruit and vegetable merchants. The shrine has a long history, however the current shrine building was built in 1928 and is still very well maintained.

Nowadays, most comers would be worshipers who would like to ask for good fortune and success, they often let wishes tablets and other gifts such as plants in order to please the local divinity.

Even if you are just quickly passing by, it remains a pretty sight to drop by, maybe ring the wishing bell before heading to the very close Matsuya department store, which has a famed rooftop with a breathtaking view of the magnificent Sky Tree.
