An expansive park to let loose in nature

Nanasawa Forest Park is an urban park located in the eastern foothills of the Tanzawa Mountains in northwestern Kanagawa Prefecture. With an area of about 65 hectares, it is one of the largest in the prefecture. The park, which was developed from a local woodland, offers a wide range of attractions that make use of its undulating terrain, such as forest walking paths and grassy fields, where visitors can enjoy its rich nature throughout the year. There are also a variety of facilities, including an athletic playground you can enjoy with children, an outdoor barbeque area (open from March to November), and the Mori-no-Atelier, which hosts a wide range of experiential programs. The Mori-no-Kakehashi, a large stone-arched pedestrian bridge, is the park's symbol. After a long day of fun, we also recommend unwinding at the nearby Nanasawa Onsen area.
