The stadium is home to the Chunichi Dragons, one of the most respected teams in Nippon professional baseball. The spacious arena can seat 40,500 people and is known for its striking geodesic dome, constructed in 1997, which contributes to a great atmosphere within the stadium.
The stadium is known for its pleasant atmosphere and if you're feeling hungry during the game, beer and food are readily available. Even bad weather can't spoil your day out at Nagoya Dome, as the covered walkway from the station to the arena will ensure that you arrive safe and dry.

Opening Times
The dome opens from 10:00 and closes by 18:00 when there are no events. Temporarily, opening time of the information center is changed from 10:00 until 17:30 from November 1st 2016 to February 28th 2017. Opening hours differ depending on which events are being held.
