World Heritage Site Airport
Tokyo's historic airport and UNESCO World Heritage Site
The gateway into Japan, Tokyo Haneda Airport, also known as Tokyo International Airport, is Japan’s busiest air hub, outpacing even Tokyo Narita Airport.
The airport itself offers travelers everything they need to prepare for their journey. Duty-free shops feature Japanese food and gifts for that last-minute souvenir, and a Character Shop sells merchandise of Japan’s most popular animated characters. The international terminal even features an Edo-themed shopping street. A massage parlor, perfect for helping nervous fliers relax, is also available, as are shower rooms and, of course, some fantastic restaurants to enjoy one last Japanese meal before you depart.
With a location notably closer to the city center than Tokyo Narita Airport, you can make the most of your Japan vacation down to the very last minute. Just moments from the city itself, Haneda Airport is still close to a range of Tokyo attractions. Check out nearby Jonanjima Seaside Park, where visitors can enjoy the sight of airplanes flying in or taking off low overhead.
Make the most of your Japan vacation from the moment you land to the moment you leave with the facilities of Haneda Airport.
