Caretta Shiodome

Located in the modern area of Shiodome, Caretta Shiodome is spread over several floors of the 48-storey, 213-meter-tall Dentsu Building and is an excellent location for a bit of Tokyo shopping.

The imposing Dentsu Building houses the seemingly endless floors of Caretta Shiodome, the most striking of which is surely its highest, where multiple ‘Sky Restaurants’ overlook the city. Located on the 46th and 47th floor, choose by cuisine – yakiniku, sushi and Hokkaido food – or by vista, with the various restaurants overlooking the Tokyo Skytree®, Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, Japanese Imperial Palace or Odaiba areas. Closer to ground level, shops can be found in abundance, as well as fast food restaurants and delis. No matter your craving or budget, dining opportunities are endless.

More than just a dining paradise, Caretta Shiodome is also home to the Advertising Museum Tokyo, a theatre which hosts major international productions, and several modern works of art dotted around the area. The Caretta Shiodome Winter Illuminations occur every year, making the outside area of the mall a winter wonderland.
One of Tokyo’s most modern areas, the neighborhood surrounding Caretta Shiodome is worth exploring, and with the area’s imposing skyscrapers being easy to spot, it’s a snap to find your way to this modern corner of the city.
